How to Create AI Courses on Levelup? 

Want to create courses quickly on Levelup? Now you can- all with the power of AI! Introducing AI Genie feature on Levelup. The AI Genie is your personal AI course creation authoring assistant that makes it faster and easier to create online courses on Levelup. Here we will learn how you can create an AI generated course on Levelup with the help of our open AI platform. 

What is the AI Genie and How Does it Work?

The AI Genie is your AI course authoring assistant that helps you to create complete courses, including chapters, exams, & knowledge check questions, and that too within minutes! 

AI Genie is based on the Open AI platform, which uses information on the internet, online resources, and other relevant materials to create your course. Here is the process that you need to follow to create a Levelup LMS course with AI Genie. 

How to Create a Course with the AI Genie?

STEP 1: Log into your Levelup admin account. 

STEP 2: Click on ‘Course/Path’ from the Menu panel on the left side of your screen. 

STEP 3: You will be redirected to the ‘Courses’ page. Click on the ‘Course’ button on the top right corner of the page. You will get a drop down and choose ‘Course AI.’ 

STEP 4: Now, you will get a pop-up screen where you need to enter the basic details of the course. 

• Enter a title for the course in the first field. 

• In the field below it, you need to describe your target audience. Try to give the details of who this course is for, what their existing skill level is, or what specific topics you want to cover. This information will help the AI Genie draft your course. 

Pro Tip: If you have any special requests, like if you want to make the course gender inclusive, and diverse in nature, you can enter them here as well. 

When you are done, Click on Next. 

STEP 5: Now, it is time to add details about the content. Enter the desired number of Chapters and the number of Modules/Materials you want to be included per Chapter. 

Please Note: The maximum number of chapters per course is limited to 3 and the maximum number of materials per chapter is limited to 4. 

You will also find the question ‘Would you like to check knowledge?’ and a toggle switch. This allows you to enable Knowledge Check, which adds review questions for your learners at the end of each chapter. Know more about Knowledge Check here. 

If you want to enable Knowledge Check, switch the toggle switch on and then add the number of Knowledge Check questions you want to add per chapter. 

Once you are done, click on ‘Next’ 

STEP 6: Now, you will be redirected to another popup for adding Exam. 

You will get the question, ‘Would you like to add an exam?’ and a toggle switch. 

If you want to add an exam, switch the toggle switch ‘On’ 

Then you switch it on, you will be asked to enter the desired number of questions you want to add. 

Please note that you can add a maximum of 10 exam questions per course. 

STEP 7: Great! Once you are done with that, click on ‘Generate’ to create your AI assisted course. 

STEP 8: The course will not be published directly. You can find the AI course creation added as draft to the list of courses in the main ‘Courses’ page. The course needs to be reviewed by you. If you want to edit sections of the course, you can do it.  

After everything is approved, you can simply go ahead and publish the course.
