Creating an Event

Even during online learning, you need to give your learners a face-to-face interaction with the trainers. Levelup allows you to do that by allowing admins to create events where learners can meet trainers and other learners offline, or online through video conferencing. Here we would learn about how you can create an event on Levelup. But before we do that, let us first learn about the diverse types of events you can create with the help of Levelup. 

The Different Types of Events You Can Create on Levelup 

Calendar Invite: You can create a calendar invite event where you can invite learners and trainers to interact with each other on a scheduled date. This can be an online event, or you can meet at the office or any other location you see fit. 

Teams Meeting: You can organize a meeting on a one-on-one basis or with a few users on Microsoft Teams. Click here to know how you can set up Microsoft Teams on Levelup. 

Teams Live Event: At a live event, you can interact with hundreds of attendees at once. It is perfect for onboarding, annual employee meetups or townhall meetings. 

Zoom Meeting: Levelup also allows you to create a Zoom meeting. Click here to know how you can set up Zoom account on Levelup. 

How to Create an Event on Levelup? 

  • Log on to your Levelup admin account. 
  • Click on the Events icon on the sidebar menu. 
  • On the Events page, you will find all the events of the past as well as the ones which are scheduled.  
  • You can click on ‘Past Events’ to check the events scheduled in the past. 
  • You can also filter and sort the events as per your needs. 
  • Now, to create an Event, click on ‘Admin’ 
  • After that, click on ‘Create Now’ 
  • Choose the type of Event that you want to create. 

After that, you will have to go through different processes depending on the type of event you are planning. 

Creating a Calendar Invite 

If you are creating a Calendar Invite, here is the information you need to provide. 

  • The Title for the Event 
  • The start and end time for the Event, along with the local time zone 
  • Select the attendees who are registered on Levelup from the dropdown menu. 
  • If you wish to include attendees outside of your Levelup environment, then include their email IDs in the ‘External attendees’ field. 
  • Add a description of the event. 
  • You can also upload attachments if necessary. 
  • Click on ‘Save Draft’ if you wish to save the details and work on it later. 
  • If you want, you can click on ‘Send Invite’ to send out the invite with all the details. 

Creating a Microsoft Teams Meeting 

You need to follow the same process as sending out Calendar Invite. 

Creating a Microsoft Teams Live Event 

If you are creating a Microsoft Teams Live Event, here is the information you need to provide. 

  • The Title for the Event 
  • The start and end time for the Event, along with the local time zone 
  • Choose the Live event audience from the dropdown menu. 
  • You can toggle the switch to ‘Allow questions and answers’ 
  • If you have chosen that only specified people can attend the event, then choose the attendees from the dropdown list. 
  • If you wish to include attendees outside of your Levelup environment, then include their email IDs in the ‘External attendees’ field. 
  • Choose the presenters who will be presenting at the event. 
  • Choose the producers who will be organizing the event. 
  • Add a description of the event. 
  • You can also upload attachments if necessary. 
  • Click on ‘Save Draft’ if you wish to save the details and work on it later. 
  • If you want, you can click on ‘Send Invite’ to send out the invite with all the details. 

Creating a Zoom Meeting 

You need to follow the same process as sending out Calendar Invite.
