Enrolling Users/User Groups for a Course

Enrolling Users/User Groups for a Course on Levelup

Once you have published a course on Levelup, you will need to enroll in user and/or user groups for the course. Only after you enroll a user, they will be able to find the course and take part in it. In this tutorial, we will look at how you, as an admin can enroll users for a course

IMPORTANT: You first need to publish a course before you can enroll a user. Click here to learn how you can create and publish your course.

Understanding the Different Types of Enrollments

Before we look at the process of enrolling users, let us first try to understand the diverse types of enrollments you can choose from, on Levelup.

Instant Enrollment – Here, learners and trainees can start the courses as soon as you enroll them. You can set a scheduled date by which they must complete the course. You can also re-enroll and repeat the course, if required.

Scheduled Enrollment – In this type of enrollment, the learners can only start the course after a specified date. You can also set the number of days within which they need to complete the course. Here, too, you can re-enroll users and repeat the course.

Autopilot Enrollment – For Autopilot enrollment, you can set the number of days within which the learner needs to complete the course. Like the other two, re-enrollment and repeat is available for this option as well. When a new user is added to a specific user group through autopilot enrollment, they will automatically be assigned the existing course.

What is Re-Enrollment?

At Levelup, you can enroll a user multiple times for a single course. You can re-enroll all the users who have completed the course. You can also re-enroll users who have completed the course a certain number of days before. You can set the number of days when you are enrolling users for the first time.

What is Repeat?

Repeat allows your learners to retake the course after they have completed it once. You can set a specific date for repeat or choose the number of years after which a learner can repeat the course.

IMPORTANT: You cannot set repeat and re-enroll for the same course at the same time. If you do, then re-enroll will be ignored for repeats.

We will learn about how to set re-enrollment and repeat later in this article.

Let us now look at how you can set up the diverse types of enrollments.
